Brett Flener was my realtor when I bought my home. We were looking for homes with proximity to Nashville, but needed an affordable place, so we decided on Goodlettsville. Brett drove around the neighborhood we liked and found a house that was for sale by owner. He got in contact with the family quickly and actually acted as both the listing agent for them and my agent.

Brett knew where the market was, and I wasn’t really willing to accept that until we saw about 10 houses. I really wanted a house I could add value to, so I didn’t want a new build. I didn’t understand where the market was, but Brett went out of his way to look into neighborhoods that I hadn’t considered. We ended up finding a townhouse that hit the right price point for us that I could add value to and make look nicer, which I wanted.

I knew early on that he’s wasn’t going to lie to me or just tell me what I wanted to hear. He was honest with me and was with me through the entire process. He’s not looking for a quick win. He wants everybody to get what they need. He would rather repeat the process for something that matters than just treat people less than they deserve.

Overall, having Brett as our realtor was a good experience and we love our place. I recommend him as a realtor to people all the time because I believe in the power of the relationship. Brett is incredibly well read and intelligent, but he doesn’t suffer any fools. He always does his own research and makes sure it checks out. He’s very quiet until you get to know him and he’s extremely passionate about the things he’s passionate about. He wants mutual wins for everybody.
